Creativity and intuition have been the guiding forces in my life. I see the world differently than most people. I see the pattern that nature builds with. I see the sky as layers of paint. I see shape and curves infinitely repeated. I see lights when I close my eyes.
I make art because I am compelled to. It stirs within me, asking to be released, begging to be revealed. Often when I begin a piece, I have no idea where it will take me, but I can feel its presence. Other pieces I see clearly before I begin, a vision to be sculpted a brush-stroke at a time.
The greatest gift for me is when someone comes into the gallery and is truly moved, spiritually, emotionally; when the art creates a palpable experience for them that shifts their perspective in that moment and beyond.
